Volunteer Positions
Athletic Director

- Maintain
awareness of CYO bylaws and league constitution and rules. Oversee coordination of all STMO
basketball activities.
Address complaints and arbitrate disputes.
- Conduct
Coaches meeting prior to season
- Provide
information to coaches to conduct parent meetings prior to season
- Ensure
that all rules are adhered to and philosophy of CYO program is followed
- Distribute
League schedules to all coaches
- Select
and train Assistant Athletic Directors
- Select
and support volunteer positions
Assistant Athletic Director
(Boys) - OPEN
- Coordinate
Boy team evaluations and form Boys teams into American, A2 and National
divisions. Recruit and train
qualified coaches. Assist
with end of year Coach evaluations
Assistant Athletic
Director (Girls) – OPEN
- Coordinate
Girl team evaluations and form Girls teams into American and National
divisions. Recruit and train
qualified coaches. Assist
with end of year Coach evaluations
Gym Director - OPEN

Schedule and coordinate gym usage with Moraga School District and other agencies. Coordinate scheduling of gym time for
games and practice. Ensure that
gym use rules are enforced. Open,
close and secure gyms during holiday and weekend gym usage.
Registrar - OPEN
·
Register and verify eligibility for all
players during evaluation weekend.
Submit require registration forms to league and diocese
Treasurer -
Debb Smith
- Collect
all fees and deposit with Parish.
Reimburse volunteers and coaches for all CYO related
expenses. Maintain CYO
financial statements and supporting d0cumentation.
Webmaster -
Uniform Coordinator
- Debb Smith
- Procure
and distribute uniforms.
Tournament
Coordinator - OPEN
- Provide
tournament information for all coaches.
Equipment
Coordinator - Pat Settle
- Maintain
and procure team supplies including Coaches Bags, Balls, First Aid Kits,
etc.
Spirit Wear
Coordinator - OPEN
- Design,
procure and distribute Spirit wear for Saint Monica basketball, including,
T-shirts, sweatshirts and 8th grade gift
Picture Day
Coordinator - OPEN
- Coordinate
STMO Picture day in November – Vendor contact, schedules day of
event, bundles pictures for coaches distribution
Parish Liaison
- Debb Smith
- Coordinate
activities with St Monica Parish leadership. Meet at least annually with
pastor to discuss CYO program.
Confirm CCD attendance for eligibility purposes; organize at
least one CYO Mass of Thanksgiving for the talents given by God.
